AMBROSIA CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES

1 c. butter
3/4 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. granulated sugar
1 egg
2 tsp. vanilla
2 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
2 c. (12 oz.) Ambrosia semi-sweet chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. In a small mixing bowl, stir
together flour, baking soda and salt. In a large mixing
bowl, cream butter and sugars together until light and
fluffy. Add egg and vanilla. Beat well. Add dry ingredients
to creamed mixture and blend. Stir Ambrosia chips into
mixture. Roll a heaping teaspoon of dough into a ball. Place
each ball 2 inches apart on an ungreased baking sheet. Bake
for 10 to 15 minutes. Remove sheet from the oven and place
cookies on a cooling rack. Makes 3 dozen cookies.
